Construction Estimator (Battle Ground)

We are looking for a construction estimator with experience. Skills necessary: -Read, understand and interpret project plans, specs, and bid documents -Review plans, specs, and bid documents to determine labor, equipment, materials, and subcontractor requirements -Compute cost factors and prepare estimates used for management -Develop lists of questions for bidder inquiries to submit pre-bid -Prepare material take-offs and determine production rates based on project plans, specs, and bid documents. -consult with vendors, suppliers, etc to discuss pricing and solutions for estimates Project types: -Excavation, road building, road reconstruction, storm and sanitary sewer lines, water lines, site development, and more. Public and private work as the prime contractor or subcontractor. Minimum qualifications: You have experience bidding or assisting in the bidding dirt, pipe, and demolition projects. Ability to use Microsoft word and excel Good with math Ability to attend pre-bid meetings as assigned. This position requires a driver’s license. Ability to work in the office Battle Ground at least 40 hours a week. This is not a remote position. Competitive pay & benefits. Pay is negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
