DESCRIPTION Looking for positive caring and upbeat individuals to join our very dedicated staff at our BRADO NYC Thin Crust location. We are a small restaurant group with 6 locations and an established clientele with over 20 years in the business. Our restaurants are local haunts for New Yorkers in the know. We are seeking a part time host and phone person and a server. This is a part time position we may need one night serving and one night as a phone/host. These positions require extremely focused individuals with a strong attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues with confidence. We value our service staff highly as they are the main representatives of an enterprise in which we take great pride. We are looking for candidates that are caring individuals who are extremely reliable, hardworking and accountable to those around them. We have one position available for the right candidate. PRIOR BAR EXPERIENCE IS PREFFERED! Candidates must have a warm and welcoming demeanor on the phone and in person. You must have A+ communication and organizational skills as well as the ability to thrive under pressure with patience and composure and work well as part of a team. REQUIREMENTS -Must possess a truly nice presence, and grade A people skills -Must have a willingness to engage in activities beyond server role i.e.: answering phones, printing online orders, seating guests etc. All of our staff is cross trained to work as a TEAM -SOME LEVEL Bartending skills are PREFFERED. -Willingness to work behind the bar is required -Must be proficient in running food and handling plates/trays and drinks -Must have the ability to stand on feet for long periods -Must have the ability to multitask and maintain a high level of cleanliness at all times -Basic beer, wine and liquor knowledge is required -DOH FOOD HANDLERS CERTIFICATE IS A PLUS (if you don’t have it you will be REQUIRED to get it within 3 months of hire) -Prior experience with GrubHub/Seamless/DoorDash and UberEatS and or RESY also a plus -A genuine nature; able to comfortably engage in a natural dialogue with guests and diffuse difficult situations -Integrity and the ability to make decisions on your feet -Previous experience manning multiple phone lines -Must be able to work quickly and quickly and speak fluently about the menu and its offerings -This position requires a very high level of responsibility in handling large orders within a specified time-frame. -Flexible Availability part time positions available -Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus but not required -Experience with RESY / Open Table or equivalent is preferred
