Successful Mechanical Technicians are fast learners and self-motivated, independent workers. They have the ability to work under pressure and the willingness to work in varying conditions. Mechanical technician in YC Cable handles crimping machine set up and maintenance, crimping documents update. Tooling adjust, special fixture design and such mechanical related job will also be challenge. Other duties as assigned by Management. Requirements • 5+ Years of hand crimp tool and crimp machine setup experience • 5+ Years of any mechanical machine setup experience. • Must be able to lift 50lbs. occasionally. • Basic computer skills. • Able to use basic hand tools like cutter, pliers screw drivers etc. • Min. It is a critical engineering role in the manufacturing process. The qualified candidate will have a direct impact on the company's manufacturing capability, efficiency, and productivity. Requirements: -Experience in cable assembly and/or electro mechanical assembly industry in the manufacturing environment. -Experience in using connectors, terminals, wires, cables, shrink tubing and various other cable assembly products. -Experience in creating assembly SOP by using AutoCAD or other CAD software. -Experience in internet electronic components sourcing and be able to cross or find equivalent parts. -Must be able to read and understand blueprints, manufacturer's data sheets/spec sheets, fabrication diagrams and assembly. -Proficient with Excel, Word, and CAD software. -Must be able to work well both independently and as part of a cross-functional team, including multi-tasking capabilities. -Must be detail oriented with the ability to meet or exceed deadlines. -Must have exceptional oral and written communication skills. Responsibilities: -Create SOP for all new jobs to production floor daily. -Provide instant engineering support to production floor. -Process ECRs (engineering change requests). -Work closely internally with Production, Quoting, Engineering and Sales to ensure each job is built correctly and efficiently. Our drivers average 150 miles of driving and navigating through heavy to moderate traffic conditions during both daylight and nighttime, and in weather conditions consisting of moderate to high heat, and occasional rain. They must maintain a steady and consistent pace in order to complete the average 26 delivery stops each day. In addition, they must also manage numerous invoices, process corrections and communicate exceptions to the customer service team. Drivers must drive safely and be aware of his or her surroundings. Drivers work at least four consecutive days each week. The workday begins at 5:00 a.m. and lasts between 10 hours and 12 hours with a 30-minute meal break taken by the 5th and 10th hour of the shift.
