Daily Job responsibilities • Inspect and verify incoming/IPQA / FQA materials, components, and parts according to established procedures and specifications. • Documenting and reporting quality on parts produced. • Must be familiar with basic QA equipment’s like, calipers, rulers’ micrometers, microscopes etc. • Conduct visual inspections, measurements, and functional tests to identify defects, damage, or deviations from specifications. • Document inspection results accurately and maintain detailed records of incoming material inspections. • Communicate with managers or supervisors to address quality issues, discrepancies, or non-conformities found during inspections. • Manage daily cleaning and upkeep of the quality equipment and work environment. • Communicating well with other team members to help solve problems. • Follow managers directions for perform any additional jobs to help QA or other departments. Experience and/or educational requirements: • High school diploma or equivalent. • Minimum of 2 years’ experience with cable assembly background in QA department. • Must be able to read and write in English. • Basic math skills addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication. • Strong interpersonal skills. • Detail oriented and strong work ethic. • Basic experience using Microsoft office products such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook. • Must be able to lift 50 pounds and carry it for short distances. • Must be able to sit or stand for 2 hours at a time. Job Description Position Summary:  Control of inbound and outbound shipments, enter information into Customer System, Records and maintains a daily yard check, and verify outbound driver information to ensure drivers are picking up correct loads. Pay Rate: $18.50 + $1/hr. shift premium. Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 5pm 01:30am with OT as needed Responsibilities:   • Interact with drivers to verify and accurately input shipment information into customer systems. • Assign carriers to appropriate dock doors for inbound and outbound shipments; allocate trailers to drivers accordingly. • Coordinate and respond to customer needs in real-time to ensure service goals and expectations are met. • Monitor yard equipment placement to ensure proper organization; maintain manual data backups to support business continuity in the event of system failures. • Other projects and tasks as assigned. Qualifications Qualifications: • At least 2 years experience in data entry, warehouse operations, and logistics • HS Diploma / GED required • Independent problem solving skills required • Intermediate computer skills • Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job • Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening are required.
