Two Brothers Tavern, one of Central Vermont's highest grossing restaurants, is looking to bring on a new Kitchen Manager to replace our long-time manager who is moving on to sunny Florida! This is a great opportunity for qualified candidates to head up a seasoned kitchen staff dedicated to team-work, mutual respect, hard work, compassion, kindness and culinary passion. This is largely a scratch kitchen that focuses on serving quality ingredients and putting out exciting plates that reflect a balance of vegan, vegetarian, seafood and some of our customer's favorite comfort foods. Candidates should be of a collaborative spirit and should embrace working closely with the management team and ownership in the shared endeavor of our patron's, employees' and business' best interests. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, overseeing daily operations, hiring and training, overseeing kitchen cleanliness, ordering, menu and recipe development, food preparation and plating, scheduling, discipline, maintenance and maximizing efficiency. Candidates should expect to work nights and weekends. We are looking for a dishwasher to work in our Breakfast Cafe. Hours 8-1 p.m. Midweek 8-2 p.m. Weekends We will work with your schedule for either midweek or weekends but preferably weekends. Weekends and holidays. We can fulfill a 40 hour work week with other restaurant work. We will also consider a part time schedule. We keep a very organized and clean kitchen. Necessary to be on time. You may need to help bus tables on mid week days. We have an open kitchen so you need to have a neat and presentable appearance. Great Staff to work with.
