Then the meal delivery drivers pack their bags and head out to deliver meals. You and the volunteers clean up and get things ready for the next day and to serve lunch to clients at the center around 11:30 AM. Responsibilities at the site include packing meals for the homebound, cleaning-up kitchen, assisting the manager and supervising volunteers. Knowledge of proper sanitation procedures a plus. This position will be the manager's right-hand person and support the manager with everyday issues as well as able to fill in during short-term absence. This position also requires the kitchen assistant to fill in for meal drivers and when needed. Mileage reimbursement is .70 cents a mile.
