Class A CDL Driver

Monument Roofing of Colorado is looking for a Class A CDL Driver. Local Truck Driver Responsibilities: -Safely transporting goods to and from specified locations according to company delivery schedules. -Maintaining an accurate logbook of driving activities, detailing the number of hours worked, deliveries completed, and rest periods. -Liaising with Superintendent and Job Foreman to communicate any Material issues and/or delays. -Properly secure goods to ensure that they are not damaged in transit. -Assisting in the loading and unloading of Truck, using hand trucks and forklifts as required. -Notifying management of any accidents, parking tickets, vehicle damage, and major maintenance issues. -Ensuring that the company truck is clean and well-maintained at all times. -Basic mechanical knowledge of truck maintenance Local Truck Driver Requirements: -High school diploma or GED. -Class A commercial driver's license (CDL). -Proven experience driving trucks. -A clean driving record. -Sound knowledge of road safety regulations. -The ability to utilize GPS and local road maps. -The ability to operate hand trucks and electric lifts, or forklifts. (Training available) -Effective communication skills. -Punctual and reliable. Work hours will vary depending on Jobsite location, weather and various jobsite conditions. -This position is local. Driver would be based out of Colorado Springs. Driver would load material at our warehouse in Colorado Springs and deliver to Jobsites. Driver would also assist with picking up product at suppliers and delivering to Jobsite or Warehouse. Employee would also help in getting materials ready in the warehouse and keeping warehouse organized. Must be willing to help load and unload the truck, assist in the warehouse as needed.
