It offers a culinary journey that transforms the familiar into uniquely crafted and gorgeously presented dishes. A deeply personal project, the restaurant honors the spaces where David’s desire to cook first took hold, its name referencing his childhood home in Upstate New York. David's cooking style is characterized by simplicity, precise execution, elegant plating, and an element of surprise achieved through unexpected textures and hidden elements. The local product that initially drew David to San Francisco has remained a cornerstone of his culinary approach, first at Marlena, the Michelin-starred restaurant that he and Serena opened in 2020, and now at 7 Adams, opening in 2023. Drawing on local produce and capturing nuanced seasonal moments, 7 Adams also celebrates Serena’s roots in Northern California. We are seeking a BACKWAITER, experienced and energetic individual with a strong attention to detail and a passion for food and beverage. REQUIREMENTS: *At least 3+ years FINE DINING pre-fixed menu experience and the desire to grow and learn within our team. Michelin experience is a plus. *Ability to deliver exceptional customer service and maintaining a tidy dining space while managing a fast-paced service *Effectively communicate with guests, managers, and colleagues *Strong attention to detail and desire to collaborate with fellow servers and work as a team *Extensive product knowledge, especially when it come to ingredients and food techniques from around the world *Must be able to obtain all necessary certifications including but not limited to Food Handlers and Responsible Beverage Service *Flexible schedule, PM shifts only, and weekends are a must *Ability to lift 25-40 lbs (e.g. case of wine) and walk up and down stairs carrying items and boxes We hope to create a team who thrives on hospitality and creating an exceptional experience.
