Range 59 Under general supervision, the Bus Driver 1 reports directly to the Supervisor, Transportation to safely operate a Type 2 school bus over designated routes to transport special needs students; to assist in the general cleaning and servicing of school buses; and to do related work as required. Requirements / Qualifications: • The Bus Driver 1 requires a Type 2 Certification. • Class B Driver's license with passenger endorsement with no restrictions that would preclude driving on the job. • Possession of a California Highway Patrol School Bus Driver's certificate with no restrictions which would preclude driving on the job. • Department of Transportation Medical Certificate • Two Letters of Recommendation • Copies of the required documents should be included with the application packet.
