Applicants should have basketball coaching experience and/or strong basketball knowledge and experience working with children ages 5–12 years. The JCCSF youth sports philosophy, “Redefine the Score,” focuses on developing both sport-specific and life skills in a positive, fun atmosphere. RESPONSIBILITIES Create team goals aligned with JCCSF youth sports values. Plan and lead practices and games emphasizing skill development and positive reinforcement. Be consistently present for weekday practices and weekend games. Coach during game days: set lineups, make substitutions, and apply age-appropriate strategies. Learn and follow league rules and expectations. Communicate effectively with players, parents, other coaches, and supervisors. Perform other duties as needed. REQUIREMENTS Experience working with children ages 5–12. Knowledge of basketball fundamentals; prior youth coaching experience preferred. Familiarity with early childhood development is a plus.
