Part Time Night Trash Collector-PU Truck Required–Birmingham (Birmingham)

The candidate for this position must be familiar with the maintenance of diesel and gas engines. Has the ability to diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and hydraulic issues as well as the ability to weld and repair metal. The equipment fleet includes but is not limited to electric fleet carts, various mowers, tractors, automotive vehicles and trailers. The Equipment Technician reports to the Grounds Manager and works with the Golf Course Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent regarding daily operation. The work environment is professional and fun with a great team atmosphere. Special Requirements: • Driver’s license required • Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area • Maintain and repair all golf course equipment • Responsible for ordering and restocking parts • Maintain maintenance records Hours are generally Monday through Friday 7am-3:30pm. Full Time, Year Round, Hourly Position, Compensation commensurate with experience. Follows established safety rules and regulations and maintains a safe and clean environment. ***Additional Responsibilities Proper tracking of project time utilizing construction software. Must be able to take direction as necessary and work well in a team environment. Ability to keep a professional and clean job site. Attentive to detail and always alert to ensure safety. Must be flexible with the day to day tasks and assignments, and have the ability to work under pressure on tasks that are time sensitive. All responsibilities will be carried out in a positive and professional manner. BBCI requires all Carpenter staff to be available for a 40-hour work week.
