PLEASE APPLY BY GOING TO THIS LINK https://behappyps.com/employment/ We are a local remodeling and handyman company located in Anchorage, AK. We have been in business for 10 years. Most of the work we do is in Anchorage but we also perform in Eagle River and the Valley. We focus on kitchen and bathroom remodels in the winter, handyman repairs, drywall, painting and flooring. In the summer we get outside often and build decks, fences, siding, windows and doors and continue with some indoor remodeling and painting. We also perform handyman repairs and maintenance for some larger Home Owner Associations. The person we are looking for must have 10+ years experience in remodels and renovations. The candidate will be maintaining strong customer relationships and understanding all facets of remodeling. The candidate will need to be attentive to detail and able to take direction. We have a few customers that we are on call with that may require the candidate to work after hours. This may come up once every 2 months. Knowledge And Requirements for job: * Must Have own truck and tools for higher wage * Positive attitude, dependable, hardworking, honest and neat in appearance. * Strong work ethic, self motivated, ability to take constructive criticism and correction. * Knowledge and skill of doing residential renovations, bathroom and kitchen remodeling, carpentry, decks, fences, siding, windows and doors, drywall, tile, flooring, painting and handyman repairs * Ability to work well as a team. * Focused on safety of yourself and the team you are working with. * Good driving record * Available on call if needed (This is not very often but it does come up) *Ability to lift more than 75 pounds *Must be able to pass drug test ( heroin, cocaine, amphetamines, opiates, phencyclidine) * You must be able to follow direction and interact with coworkers and clients in a professional, respectful manner.
