We are hiring for our overnight dishwasher/packing team. A&J King Artisan Bakers is looking for a combination overnight delivery packer and dishwasher to work at our production facility in Salem. We're a family owned, award-winning, 19-year old bakery that is looking for reliable third shift help. Great for night owls and workers looking for off-hours employment. We're looking for reliable, trustworthy, and hard working people that get along in a team atmosphere. JOB DUTIES: - Assist in packing, consolidation, and organization of product going out for delivery -Slice breads and bag up product for wholesale - Wash/rinse/sanitize baking pans, small wares, and equipment - Assist in packing, consolidation, and organization of product going out for delivery - Tidy up, sweep, clean, mop at end of shift OTHER REQUIREMENTS: - Lifting up to 50 lbs -Must be able to be on your feet for up to 8 hours. - Proficient in English language. - Authorized to work in the United States DAYS/HOURS: -3 Shifts a week: WEDNESDAY, FRIDAY, SATURDAY -Applicants should be able to sub in on other shifts from time to time. - 10pm - 4am- this is an OVERNIGHT shift. Some shifts finish earlier than others. -Roughly 15-18 hours a week COMPENSATION: All employees are paid a base wage (no less than minimum wage) and and additional bonus per paycheck which varies depending on how busy the bakery is. Right now, that bonus averages adding an additional $3.50 per hour to each employee's paycheck. So, for example, employees making $16 per hour are taking home around $19.50 per hour.
