The CNC Programmer is responsible for programming parts, maintaining setup sheets, maintaining work instructions, troubleshooting jobs on the floor, fixture design, and selecting proper tooling. Machines we operate: Mills: Mazak, Okuma, Haas and DMG Mori mills. 3-axis vertical, 4-axis horizontal, and 5-axis machines Turning centers: Mazak and Okuma    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES     Uses CAD software to prepare drawings and detail blueprints from rough sketches, manufacturers' spec sheets or from other forms of information presented. Ability to edit pre-written programs.   Ability to edit and troubleshoot programs for process improvements.  Inspects first run pieces and spot checks succeeding pieces for conformance to specifications. Completes necessary job-related paperwork to include tags, inspection documents, and production log. Prepares production drawings based on customer supplied prints.   Creates and revises process routings for new, reoccurring and rework job orders.  Communicates daily to department supervisor of any major engineering problems or concerns.    Uses ERP system to input, track and locate information as needed in accordance with established company guidelines.    May assist in recommending, evaluating, and verifying engineering changes, specifications and drawing releases and obtains all necessary required authorizations.    Understands, enforces, and follows Prince Industry’s quality certifications as it relates to job (i. e. ISO).    Additional responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE  High school diploma or GED.  Minimum 5 Years - Setup and Operating CNC Machining Centers    Minimum 5 Years - CAM Programming  Preferred SolidWorks and MasterCAM experience  Must be able to read and interpret G-code  Ability to read and interpret GD&T blueprints  Manual machining experience is a plus

PROJECT MANAGEMENT SUPPORT II: Detailed Task Order formation and administration including: Support NASA technical evaluations of NASA contractor proposals and task plans. Support pre-bid activities (including contractor pre-bid walkdown) of projects as required. Coordinate O&M shop support in support of NASA contractor activities including outages and activation of assigned FSEU, and witnessing acceptance testing of protective systems (specifically fire alarm and fire suppression systems). Essential Functions: Consult with contractors, consultants, engineers, job superintendents, and others in matters related to plans, specifications, materials, equipment, and the methods, practices and safety precautions involved in construction and installation of the work. Prepare daily progress reports and maintains progress schedules in accordance with CDR Maguire’s and Owner’s requirements. Check shop drawings and contractors' quotations for variations. Keep records of quantities and cost of materials and verify used delivered materials conform to the contract documents. Prepare contractors' periodic progress payment claims and recommends payment.
