Personal Assistant needed (Monrovia)

Seeking a female caregiver for my mother who lives in Rio Vista. Need someone reliable, responsible, caring, and trustworthy with good communication skills. She has dementia and needs help with: - keeping blood pressure within designated range - measuring blood pressure accurately - ensuring that she takes medication daily - fall prevention, support when walking - encouragement to be active, walks around the block - cleaning house - laundry - light meal prep, keeping her on a healthy diet Serious candidates only please. Currently, this is not a live-in position. You must have a Social Security card as it is paid through the state. You would be paid through the state IHSS program, at a rate of 17.70$ an hour. Sick leave is also provided as an extra bonus. They require you to complete a brief, in-person training and background check before you can get paid. These are held infrequently. If you are comfortable with waiting to get paid, you can start working before completing the in-person event. They will pay you retroactively up to 90 days. NOTE: People who work 65 hours or more a month through IHSS qualify for supplemental health, vision, and dental benefits.

Hello! I am looking for someone reliable and who loves cats to help out this very amazing guy that rescues cats and has a little mini sanctuary for them. He rescued 30+ cats. He takes care of them so EXTREMELY well. He goes above and beyond for them. He’s older, and just needs help cleaning litterboxes, sweeping, changing water, brushing/playing with the cats etc. I try to help as much as I can but I get extremely busy. And now I am having to take care of some health issues amongst my family members. He really needs help whenever I am not able to. And when I take off for vacation. If anyone would be willing to take up Saturdays and Sundays that would be awesome. Even Friday’s if anyone is willing. This would help me out a lot. But of course if not, it would still be great just to have someone there to help when I can’t. Usually I stay 2 and a half hours. And he pays $10 an hr. So $25 each time you come. Evenings are preferred, 6-8:30pm but can be flexible on times. He lives on Dickson Rd. In Cedar Grove, IN. Near Mt. Carmel.
