Forming The Ultimate Top 40 Cover Band (West Wichita)

Hey peeps, I'm looking for responsible, considerate, easy to get along with, and trustworthy musicians who have the same vision/commitment to put together the ultimate top 40 working cover band. I am a firm believer that good musicianship and client satisfaction is the price of entry in this world and we need to let the music do the talking. I have a professional contact booking agency ready to put us to work ASAP. I've been involved in the Wichita music scene for 13 years and have had the pleasure of working for one of the greatest working cover bands out here and still affiliated with them as a fill-in/sub. Now it’s my turn to pick up where I left off. I'm searching for a beautiful, chatty, and vibrant female lead singer, Lead guitarist/singer, Rhythm guitarist, keyboard player, and of course a hard hitting drummer with some flash in there. I like to engage with the crowd and make them feel like they’re part of the show. I myself am a showman and love to play and move and groove on the stage and would love to interact with my bandmates as well. The crowd eats that type of stuff right up as they LOVE to see an exuberant band do their thang. With all that being said, a 3 hour Top 40 set list with a variety of 90's, 80's 70's, pop, country, rock, disco, funk, soul, just overall music that will keep the dance floor moving and grooving till the wheels fall off will do us just fine. I also would like to stay busy every month to build up the band reputation as it will pay off. The key to any project is the groups look, fronts, and dedication which of course means interacting and getting involved with the crowd as they love that type of stuff and makes them come back for more. Nobody wants to see a band up onstage with no charisma, no movement, or no swag, it's all about the WOW factor part of this because from my experience playing in a working cover band, the customers want to drink, dance, party, forget about the work week and watch a killer group of musicians tear it up onstage. I will provide a top quality PA, and lights once we are established to get the job done, just bring your equipment and your A-game. I will also mention that I am a family man and I'm not looking to take anyone's livelihoods away from there families, we all have responsibilities and I totally understand that so there are exceptions to the rule. I'm just looking to get dedicated, hard working musicians and singers for the job. This can very well be a rewarding side gig for something that we love to do and that's music because it is the healing force of the world for sure.
