Assemblers Performs a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies such as modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables. Works from diagrams and drawings, makes initial layouts, and uses hand and/or power tools, jigs, and saws. Makes continuity checks on work in process and completed. May conduct quality inspections on processing line in accordance with quality specifications. May disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions. Work with advanced components including fine-pitch, 0201, BGAs, and microelectronics under magnification. Inspect solder joints for quality and compliance with IPC standards, drawings, and specifications. Interpret and follow engineering drawings, schematics, and detailed work instructions. Circuit Board Assembler requirements: High school diploma or equivalent Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics Experience with soldering and other assembly processes Prior experience in circuit board assembly IPC-A-610 & J-STD-001 Sypris training Component/PWB Handling Collaborate with Quality Assurance to identify and resolve issues while driving continuous improvement. Circuit Board solder/ Rework Skills a MUST Shift hours are Mon-Thurs 1st Shift 5:30AM- 3:30PM OR 2nd Shift 3:30PM-2:00 AM Must be able to read/write English
