Pay Range: $20.00-$27.00; on-site housing not offered
We are looking to hire Maintenance Technician for our apartment community, Gideon and Graham, in Milpitas, CA.

The Maintenance Technician ensures that the community property meets the safety, appearance, and operational standards established by the organization.
Essential Job Functions:
● Respond to resident maintenance requests.
● Maintain cleanliness and overall appearance of the property.
● Complete necessary repairs on building exteriors and common areas as assigned by supervisor.
● Complete unit turnovers.
● Perform installations and repairs involving electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and appliances.
● Comply with company safety program rules, attend safety meetings, and perform all tasks safely.
Requirements:
● 1+ years of direct experience in general maintenance
● Available to work flexible hours (weekends, on-call, overtime).
● Reliable transportation
● Valid driver's license and vehicle registration/insurance required.
● Required to work weekends, on-call, and may be required to live on-site.
● Required to speak and write English in a manner that can be understood.
Preferred Experience:
● Trade school or maintenance training program preferred
● HVAC experience preferred but not required
● CPO preferred but not required

This position requires attendance at offsite meetings, visits to other Company operated locations, purchase of goods from offsite vendors and other tasks away from a single assigned location. Applicant must have a valid driver's license or be able to utilize an alternative form of transportation at their own expense which allows them to reach the required destination in a time period comparable to that if they were to drive their own vehicle. Employees choosing to drive their own vehicle for work-related duties will be required to have a valid driver’s license and provide proof of insurance, and may be subject to a DMV record search.
