Responsibilities: - Lead and execute a variety of residential remodeling projects from start to finish, specializing in areas like kitchens, bathrooms, and basements. Perform skilled tasks including: - Carpentry (rough and finish) - Some Drywall installation and repair - Some Painting (interior and exterior) - Flooring installation (tile, wood, etc.) - Cabinet and countertop installation - Minor plumbing and electrical (replacing fixtures, etc.) - Demolition and site preparation - Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and deliver tailored remodeling solutions. - Coordinate with other team members, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution. - Ensure all work complies with local building codes and safety regulations. - Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site at all times. Qualifications: - Minimum of 10-12 years of demonstrable experience in residential remodeling. - Proficiency in a wide range of remodeling skills, including carpentry, drywall, painting, and tiling. - Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents. - Strong knowledge of building codes and safety regulations. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with clients and team members. - Reliable transportation and your own basic tools; including table saw and chop saw. - A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to quality craftsmanship. Looking for an experienced Carpenter with knowledge in both rough and finished carpentry. Must have problem solving abilities, attention to detail, able to work alone or with others. A valid DL is a must.
