About the Role We have some exciting projects coming up, and are looking for a journeyman or lead carpenter to assist us on a part-time basis, averaging around 30 hours a week to start. Experience in high-end residential remodeling is essential to excel in this role, and equally important is the right attitude and mindset– namely, a passion for craftsmanship and design, a desire to always be learning and taking on new challenges, a strong work ethic, and a positive mindset. This role can lead to a site supervisor or project manager position for the right candidate. Responsibilities •Perform carpentry and construction-related tasks efficiently and with minimal supervision, including framing and fine finish carpentry. •Assist in various onsite construction tasks and jobsite cleanliness/organization. •Communicate and cooperate with team members and clients in a respectful, positive manner. •Oversee the work of apprentice carpenters and assist in their education. Requirements •3 years minimum of remodel construction experience. New construction + other woodworking experience is also appreciated. •Have reliable transportation to and from work. Pickup truck or work van preferred. •A professional set of hand and power tools •Be willing to travel to job-sites in and around the Portland metro area •Be punctual and professional in appearance •Proficiency in basic math and fractions •Work between 25-35 hours per week •Ability to lift 50 lbs. Preferred but not required: •Ability to tow a tool trailer. •An interest in Japanese carpentry and design. Frame-to-Finish Carpenter QUALIFICATIONS • Approximately 5 years of custom carpentry experience including framing, envelope, and trim install, some painting • Experience with remodel and new build projects • Knowledgeable of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the construction of buildings and other structures • Must be able to keep accurate records and perform timekeeping, including electronic submittals

Residential finish carpenter wanted. Work is in the Clark County mainly. We go as far north as Kelso, east into Skamania county. Looking for a motivated self starting, stays on track individual. We work in high end residential homes. Power tools are provided. Must supply your own hand tools. We do work off ladders, scaffolding.
