Key Responsibilities: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on wood chippers, including blade changes, lubrication, belt adjustments, and troubleshooting. Conduct regular oil changes, fluid checks, and preventative maintenance on trucks, trailers, and equipment. Maintain service logs, inspection reports, and maintenance schedules. Order parts, fluids, and supplies as needed while managing inventory. Diagnose mechanical issues and coordinate with outside repair shops when necessary. Ensure all equipment is safe, compliant, and ready for daily operations. Work closely with the operations team to track equipment usage and downtime. Qualifications: Proven experience in fleet or equipment maintenance (preferred: tree service, landscaping, construction, or similar industry). My Carlot needs a new mechanic. My old mechanic retired. In search of someone experienced in all facets of auto repair from heavy mechanical to easy odds and ends.
