Job Overview Fasteners & Fire Equipment is a fast-paced, customer-focused hardware store specializing in hardware, fasteners, and fire safety products. We're looking for a reliable and energetic Front Counter Sales Associate to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on retail environment, enjoys helping customers, and is eager to learn about the products we offer. Key Duties & Responsibilities Greet and assist walk-in customers in a friendly, professional manner Provide knowledgeable product recommendations and solutions Process sales transactions quickly and accurately using our POS system Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked front counter area Assist with inventory control, restocking, and product displays Learn product features and specifications to better assist customers Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or equivalent required 1+ years of retail, hardware, or customer service experience preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment Basic math and computer skills Willingness to learn about tools, hardware, and fire equipment products Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented attitude
