We are seeking a tech-savvy and personable Humanoid Robot Operator to support event-based deployments of our humanoid robotic systems. This contractor role is ideal for individuals excited by emerging technologies and public-facing activations. The operator will ensure the robot performs assigned tasks smoothly, safely, and in alignment with event objectives. You’ll work closely with internal teams and external partners to deliver engaging, reliable robotic experiences across a variety of venues and audiences. Strong customer service skills and a professional demeanor are essential, as you'll be interacting directly with event attendees and clients. ✅ Responsibilities • Operate and monitor humanoid robot systems during live events, activations, and demonstrations • Ensure safe and efficient performance in dynamic, public-facing environments • Coordinate robot task execution based on predefined scripts or workflows • Interface with event staff and technical teams to align robot behavior with event goals • Engage with attendees, answer questions, and facilitate positive interactions with the robot • Document usage patterns, performance metrics, and audience feedback • Support setup and shutdown procedures for each deployment • Provide on-site guidance to staff and attendees interacting with the robot • Offer feedback to development teams for performance optimization 🛠️ Requirements • Familiarity with robotic systems, automation platforms, or smart devices • Comfort using control interfaces, dashboards, or scripted task sequences • Strong observational skills and attention to detail • Excellent communication and documentation abilities • Professional demeanor and comfort engaging with the public • Proven customer service skills, especially in fast-paced or high-visibility environments • Ability to follow protocols and adapt to evolving workflows • Willingness to travel and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends • Prior experience with humanoid or service robots is a plus • Experience in live event operations, hospitality, or tech demonstrations preferred
