Description

Dunn DeSantis Walt & Kendrick, LLP (www.ddwklaw.com) is a mid-sized, multi-office business law firm with deep roots in San Diego. The firm seeks to hire an attorney with a minimum of five years of substantive litigation experience. Attorneys with experience handling employment law, construction, and professional liability litigation are preferred. The position requires attorneys to work directly with business-owner clients on a wide variety of interesting matters. The position presents the opportunity to gain valuable experience and client relationships typically unavailable at larger firms. Candidates must possess demonstrated primary case-handling responsibilities, as well as strong analytical abilities, excellent research and writing skills, and the capacity to work efficiently and independently. An ideal candidate is a self-starter who is organized, motivated, effectively prioritizes work, and possesses a zeal for a fast-paced, but collegial environment. Inquiries from candidates who graduated from top-tier law schools or who have judicial clerkship experience will be prioritized. The firm will consider associate, of counsel, and lateral partner candidates. The position is open in the firm’s downtown San Diego office. Remote and flexible work arrangements are possible. Dunn DeSantis Walt & Kendrick, LLP promotes a healthy work/life balance. The firm provides comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life and long-term disability insurance benefits, along with a 401(k) plan that includes a matching component. The firm also pays for bar dues, industry membership fees, and indoor parking is paid by the firm as well. The base salary band for the open position is between $145,000.00 and $180,000.00, depending upon experience. The firm also offers a multi-tiered bonus structure that generously rewards both hard work, merit, and business generation. Bonus potential is unlimited, and mid five-figure bonuses are routine. To apply, please submit a cover letter, résumé, and writing sample. Inquiries will be held in confidence.
