Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic full-time Pizzaiolo to join our dynamic kitchen team. As our Pizzaiolo, you will be the heart of our pizza operation, responsible for crafting delicious pizzas that delight our guests. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and experienced individual who takes pride in their work and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Weekend availability is a must. Responsibilities: Prepare and skillfully stretch pizza dough according to our recipes and standards. Expertly assemble pizzas with precision and attention to detail. Operate and maintain our gas-fired deck oven ensuring pizzas are cooked to perfection. Monitor oven temperatures and adjust cooking times as needed. Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workstation, adhering to all food safety and sanitation regulations. Manage inventory of pizza ingredients and communicate needs to the kitchen manager. Collaborate effectively with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient service. Qualifications: Proven experience as a Pizzaiolo in a high-volume restaurant setting (minimum 3 years preferred). In-depth knowledge of pizza dough preparation techniques, including mixing, kneading, proofing, and stretching. Familiarity with various pizza styles and toppings. Expertise in operating gas-fired ovens is highly desirable. Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices. Ability to work efficiently and maintain composure under pressure. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
