Experienced Full-Time Dishwasher (fairfax)

Job Summary We are a privately owned golf club featuring a beautiful 18-hole course and two high-quality restaurants. We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are cleaned and sanitized promptly. This position is essential for supporting our culinary team and providing excellent service to our guests. Duties • Clean and sanitize all dishes, utensils, pots, and pans used in food preparation and service. • Operate dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently to ensure a continuous flow of clean dishes. • Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including floors, counters, and sinks. • Assist with food preparation as needed, including bussing tables and helping cooks with basic tasks. • Ensure that all kitchen supplies are stocked and organized for efficient workflow. • Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Skills • Previous experience (5 years minimum) in a kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred but not required. • Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness. • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks. • Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude are essential for success in this role. • Basic knowledge of food handling practices is beneficial. • A passion for hospitality and commitment to providing excellent service is highly valued.
