Based in Berkeley, CA ________________________________________ 💼 The Role: Bookkeeper Extraordinaire We’re looking for a sharp, organized, and real-estate-savvy Bookkeeper to join our small but mighty team. You’ll keep our financial engine running smoothly by managing day-to-day accounting, tracking property income and expenses, handling agent commissions, and keeping our books in tip-top shape. Think of yourself as the calm eye of the accounting storm—the person who knows where every dollar came from, where it's going, and why it matters. ________________________________________ 📋 What You’ll Do • Maintain general ledger and ensure proper classification of expenses and income for multiple business entities • Record financial transactions including tenant rent payments and real estate commissions • Manage accounts payable/receivable, vendor payments, communications, reimbursable expense tracking, and client invoicing • Prepare financial reports including P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow summaries • Assist with tax preparation and year-end reporting in coordination with Controller and CPA • Organize and maintain digital financial records • Help us stay organized, compliant, and audit-proof ________________________________________ 🙌 What You Bring • Detail is your love language—nothing gets past you.
