Position Overview: This position will be responsible for assisting the Director of Accounting with leadership, accountability, and overall management within our accounting department. Our process is technology intensive and requires a higher level of comfort with technology than other positions in the field of accounting. Responsibilities: - Regularly meet with accounting staff to provide technical and operational support - Develop a working relationship and provide internal support to other departments - Train and develop new accounting team members - Compile monthly financials statements and file assigned state and local taxes - Assist the tax team by gathering tax documentation from clients Qualifications - BA/BS in Accounting (preferred) or - 3-5 years of prior experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or payroll - Would be willing to train the right person with little to no experience with degree in Accounting Travel - No business travel is required for this position Salary and Benefits - Salary commensurate with experience - Health, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance benefits - 401k with 4% match plus profit sharing plan after 90 days - 3 weeks PTO annually - 8 standard holidays per year - 4-5 bonus holidays around Christmas each year - Wellness program
