Position: Horse Caretaker/Groom Schedule: 8:30am-5pm five days a week, including weekends. About the Role: This is not a riding position. We are a private facility caring for high-level show horses. We are seeking someone experienced, dependable, and highly detail-oriented to join our team. Duties include but are not limited to: - Meticulous upkeep of stalls, barns, and horse facilities. -Must be well acquainted with handling large, lively horses safely and confidently. -Grooming to a professional, show-quality standard. -Administering medications (oral, injectable, topical) per veterinary guidelines. -Managing daily feeding schedules and special dietary/medical needs. -Monitoring horse health and immediately reporting any concerns. -Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment. -Experience handling all aspects of horse care (for example, giving oral meds via syringe or feed through, equine first aid, ability to apply ointments, wraps, etc. per veterinary guidelines). Requirements: -Multiple years of experience handling horses is required (show horse experience preferred). -High attention to detail and ability to follow detailed care instructions. -Excellent time management skills and ability to work independently. -Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor throughout the day. -Must be available to work weekends and holidays if needed.
