Part Time Groundskeeper for Apartment Community (Belle Rive/Avenues Mall)

We are seeking a part time Groundskeeper for Elements of Belle Rive in Jacksonville, FL. Maxus Properties, established in 1987, manages a diverse portfolio of rental housing, encompassing both market-rate and affordable properties. We specialize in revitalizing underperforming assets. Scope and Purpose: Role of the Groundskeeper Maxus Groundskeepers are partly responsible for ensuring clean, attractive visual curb appeal for our communities. Duties and Responsibilities: Maintain the health and visual appeal of property landscaping with the watering, mowing, pruning, trimming, etc, of planting trees, plants, flowers, and shrubs Safely operate tools and chemicals such as shovel, mower, pruner, pressure washer, insecticide, fertilizer, etc. Assist in preparation for inclement weather depending on climate (snow for winter, hurricanes for summer, etc). Tidy up amenity areas (dog park, gym, pool, etc). Pick up and dispose of refuse/debris to ensure the communities’ attractiveness and safety. Distribute resident notices or community flyers. Report any areas of concern to the property manager and maintenance supervisor, such as items that need repair, restocking, or vendor involvement. May be required to assist with make-ready or maintenance requests, inspections, or inventory Qualifications: A high school diploma or equivalent is required. A current and valid drivers’ license is required 1 year of facility or landscaping experience is preferred. Familiarity with Fair Housing and commitment to all Fair Housing regulations are required.
