Mesilla Valley Transport is looking to add drivers to their dedicated fleet running from El Paso to Dallas to Denver to Albuquerque and back to El Paso (check map below)! The average driver will make $1,680 per week! The round typically takes 4.5 days to complete and the the driver is home for 34 hours. The average turn is 2,800 miles. ALL NO TOUCH FREIGHT! Drivers run top of the line equipment pulling dry van trailers. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Supervision Lead and supervise a dock team responsible for loading, unloading, staging, and verifying doors, millwork, and related materials. Train, mentor, and develop dock staff to achieve performance, quality, and safety standards. Provide clear, bilingual (English/Spanish) communication to effectively manage a diverse workforce. Shipping & Receiving Operations Manage daily shipping volumes averaging 4 local trucks and 2–5 common carrier loads (53’ trailers, box trucks, or live loads). Coordinate both millworks put away, pulling, and loading to align with production and shipping schedules. Verify, sign off, and take full accountability for all outbound loads—ensuring accuracy, completeness, and readiness for shipment. Confirm that all materials are labeled correctly, damage-free, and meet customer specifications before leaving the facility. Cross-Department Collaboration Partner with Production, QC, and Warehouse teams to resolve material discrepancies before shipment. Maintain alignment with company chain-of-custody and tracking systems to support material accuracy and traceability. Safety & Compliance Enforce strict compliance with company SOPs for safety, quality, and documentation. Promote and maintain a clean, organized, and safe dock environment. Act as a role model for proper material handling and safety practices. Qualifications Required Bilingual: English/Spanish proficiency (verbal and written). 3+ years of leadership experience in dock, warehouse, or shipping/receiving within manufacturing, millwork, or distribution. Strong knowledge of shipping logistics (local deliveries and common carrier freight). Proven ability to manage a team, delegate effectively, and enforce accountability. High attention to detail with verification, labeling, and material handling. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on, production-driven environment. Preferred Familiarity with ERP or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). Experience with Agility ERP (a plus). Previous experience specifically in the door and millwork industry. Compensation & Benefits Compensation: $20–$24/hour Competitive hourly rate, depending on experience.
