We are hiring an experienced pipefitter! This position involves a brazing test. Pipefitting duties will include: Lay out, assemble, and install piping systems according to blueprints, specifications, and building codes Cut, thread, and fit pipes using tools such as saws, pipe cutters, and threading machines Braze pipe joints with high precision, ensuring no leaks or structural weaknesses Follow all safety protocols, and keep work area clean and orderly EPA preferred Qualifications of the Pipefitter: Victaulic experience Brazing certificate preferred Preferred 1-2 years of experience in industrial pipefitting with a variety of materials (steel, copper, PVC); HVAC experience preferred Ability to use hand and power tools effectively and safely, and learn how to operate overhead cranes and forklift Excellent problem-solving skills Benefits/retirement offered

Responsibilities: --Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and specifications to determine welding requirements. --Select appropriate welding procedures, techniques, and filler metals based on project specifications and pipe materials (e.g., carbon steel, stainless steel, alloy steel). --Prepare pipe surfaces for welding by cleaning, grinding, and beveling edges. --Perform various welding processes, including SMAW (stick), GTAW (TIG), GMAW (MIG), and FCAW, in accordance with applicable codes and standards (e.g., ASME, API). --Lay out, fit, and tack weld pipes and components prior to final welding. --Perform visual inspections and may conduct other non-destructive testing (NDT) as required to ensure weld quality. --Maintain weld quality and integrity, ensuring welds meet or exceed project specifications. --Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe welding practices. --Inspect and maintain welding equipment and tools.
