DeAtley Crushing Service is currently interviewing for heavy equipment operators and entry level laborers to join our team. We are looking for career minded people capable of working long hours and are able to travel around the Northwest and are eager to face the day to day demands of our rock crushing industry. All of our employees provide their own RV's to live in while on the road away from home. This is a 100% travel job, and people best suited for this work are ones who don't mind living in an RV and exploring the Northwest and all it has to offer. We do not have seasonal layoffs so applicants must be able to work in all weather conditions. We welcome applicants with prior equipment experience, but we highly value attitude, work ethic, and desire to learn and so we welcome applicants who exemplify our values but have no experience in this kind of work. Position Summary We are currently seeking an experienced Concrete Foreman to oversee concrete crews and operations on active job sites throughout Northern California. This is a hands-on leadership position that requires deep knowledge of concrete forming, placement, and finishing—alongside the ability to manage schedules, labor, and quality control. The ideal candidate will lead field crews in all aspects of concrete work, ensuring safety, productivity, and adherence to project specs. You will coordinate directly with the Superintendent and Project Manager to meet deadlines and maintain a high standard of craftsmanship. Key Responsibilities Field Leadership & Execution Supervise and lead concrete crews for slab-on-grade, foundations, curbs, sidewalks, walls, flatwork, and structural pours Read and interpret plans, blueprints, elevations, and concrete shop drawings Direct formwork layout, rebar placement, concrete pours, and finishing Operate and oversee use of power tools, screeds, floats, and finishing equipment Ensure correct mix design, slump, curing, and finish as per specifications Project Coordination Coordinate labor, equipment, deliveries, and inspections with Superintendent and PM Maintain daily field logs, crew timecards, and progress reporting Identify and solve field issues in real time, escalating as needed Ensure jobsite is safe, clean, and compliant with all safety regulations Quality & Safety Enforce OSHA compliance and company safety policies on-site Conduct jobsite safety meetings and enforce proper PPE usage Monitor craftsmanship and quality of work at every stage of concrete placement Maintain a proactive approach to risk, weather, and schedule impacts Qualifications 5+ years of hands-on concrete experience with 2+ years in a foreman or lead role Strong ability to read construction drawings, layouts, and elevation plans Proficient in layout, formwork systems, rebar placement, and concrete finishing Experience with slab pours, retaining walls, sidewalks, ADA ramps, and structural concrete Familiarity with laser levels, total stations, and layout tools is a plus Strong communication, time management, and leadership skills Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a strong plus OSHA 30 Certification preferred (or willing to obtain) Compensation Pay is competitive and based on experience Overtime opportunities and project-based bonuses available
