Non-Commissioned Security Officer (Dallas)

Location: University Park, Texas Facility Size: 98,000 Square Feet Office Building Schedule: Full-Time About the Position: We are seeking a dependable and professional Security Guard to join our on-site team. The Security Guard will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of the building, its tenants, and visitors. This position requires strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to respond effectively in a variety of situations. Key Responsibilities: • Monitor and control access to the building. • Greet and screen all visitors, contractors, and vendors in a courteous and professional manner. • Operate and monitor security surveillance systems, including security cameras and building access controls. • Maintain security logs and complete incident reports as necessary. • Perform regular patrols of the property, including common areas, stairwells, and parking areas. • Assist Property Management with enforcing building policies and procedures. • Respond to alarms, emergencies, and requests for assistance from tenants and staff. • Communicate effectively with tenants, building visitors, vendors, and the property management team. • Maintain a professional vocal and visual security presence at all times. Qualifications: • Prior experience as a security guard in a commercial or office building setting preferred. • Strong customer service and communication skills. • Ability to use surveillance equipment and access control systems. • Must be punctual, reliable, and able to work independently. • Ability to remain calm and take decisive action in emergency situations. • High school diploma or equivalent required. • Must pass a background check.
