Job Summary As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and performing routine maintenance on truck-tractors, semi-cargo tank trailers, and related shop equipment. Your role ensures equipment is maintained in a safe, timely, and cost-effective manner while maintaining complete and accurate records. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Troubleshoot and repair systems and components of truck-tractors and semi-cargo tank trailers Use power and hand tools to replace or repair defective components. Apply welding skills to vehicle repairs when necessary Maintain maintenance records in compliance with company policies and regulations Perform FHWA inspections, brake maintenance, tire maintenance, and HM-183 inspections Diagnose and repair electronic powertrain components and trailer ABS systems Provide guidance and training to Level B and C technicians Assume supervisory duties temporarily to maintain operational workflow Ensure a safe work environment and follow cargo tank entry procedures Work shifts as assigned, including days, nights, and weekends Qualifications Education: High school diploma or equivalent Experience: 2-3 years of heavy truck maintenance experience preferred Must possess a valid driver’s license and own hand tools Ability to operate computer systems effectively Must pass a pre-employment physical to meet essential job functions Why Groendyke? Job description A & P Mechanic (Aerospace - Helicopter) Location: Dallas/FT Worth Pay $35-$42 RESPONSIBILITIES Familiar with using test equipment for track and balance. Theory of rotor system tracking and balancing for adjustments. Interpreting Airworthiness Directives and Alert Service Bulletins for application on helicopters. Familiar with using measuring instruments such as dial calipers, micrometers, tensiometers, dial bore gauges, feeler gauges, and borescopes. Adjustments and troubleshooting of engine parameters for oil pressure, Ng, temperature indication, and topping settings. Familiar with common hand tools for applying torque to fasteners. Keeping detailed records of all repairs and work performed on the aircraft in accordance with the repair station guidelines. Inspect and repair aircraft according to strict safety guidelines set by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) or applicable regulatory body. Perform routine maintenance checks and perform diagnostic tests to identify hydraulic and mechanical malfunctions. Consult maintenance blueprints, manuals, and other documents to assist with troubleshooting and repairs. Inventory aircraft parts, supplies, and equipment, and keep detailed records of inspections, repairs, and other maintenance operations. Complete tasks within allotted time frames and to FAA (or equivalent) and company standards Collaborate with other mechanics and engineers to perform repairs and ensure aircraft are operating smoothly. Experience on Components or repair of Components - Strongly prefered. Preferred Skills and Qualifications Airframe & Powerplant license. Inspection and Authorization License.
