We are a growing metal fabrication shop looking for a skilled CNC Plasma Table Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate has experience operating and maintaining CNC plasma cutting equipment, understands metal fabrication processes, and takes pride in producing high-quality parts efficiently and accurately. Responsibilities: Operate and maintain CNC plasma cutting table and related equipment. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders. Load and unload metal sheets safely. Optimize material usage and cutting paths for efficiency. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot machine issues. Inspect finished parts for quality and accuracy. Work closely with the fabrication team to meet production goals and deadlines. Qualifications: Previous experience with CNC plasma tables (e.g., Torchmate, Hypertherm, Mach3, or similar). Ability to read and interpret CAD drawings and G-code files. Basic understanding of metal types, thickness, and cutting parameters. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team. Preferred Skills (Not Required but a Plus): Experience with CNC programming or CAD/CAM software (AutoCAD, Fusion 360, SheetCAM, etc.) Welding or fabrication background. Forklift experience.
