Front Desk Receptionist Full-time during Tax Season | Part-time or Full-time Off-Season About ABTS, Inc. Job description: As our Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for clients. You will manage daily administrative tasks, assist with client scheduling, and support our tax team with office operations. This role requires professionalism, reliability, and excellent communication skills—especially during peak tax season. • Greet clients and provide friendly, professional customer service • Answer phone calls, emails, and manage appointment scheduling clients • Taking customer payments and posting our client management software • Daily scanning duties • Check daily incoming fax and voicemail • Maintain cleanliness of the lobby and front desk area • Minor office cleaning – daily gathering of trash and shred from all offices; weekly bathroom cleaning and vacuuming • Support tax preparers with administrative requests as needed • Other duties are as follows: filing, getting incoming mail, running errands (e.g. Post Office) and other tasks as needed Qualifications: • Previous front-desk, customer service, or administrative experience preferred (not required) • High school diploma • Great attention to detail • Customer service oriented • Strong phone skills and etiquette • Computer literate and eager to learn other programs • Ability to multi-task is crucial • Ability to work between 9am to 7pm Mon to Fri and 10am to 6pm on Saturdays Benefits: • Competitive hourly pay • Flexible off-season schedule • Friendly and supportive work environment • Opportunity to learn about tax and accounting services Applicants must submit a cover letter, resume and at least two references.
