I'm looking for a smart, cheerful helper on weekends and possibly after 3 during the week. Must have a car to run occasional errands since I broke my arm. I live in a big old house on 1acre in peaceful Kenilworth, five minutes from town. I'm a mature young at heart female and need help with light cleaning, laundry, dishes, and possibly gardening etc - and I'd like the companionship!! Going for walks with my pup, go to outings at times. You'll have flexible days and hours, at least 10 per week. I'll pay you $20 an hour. Consistently participate in ongoing education and trainings provided by the agency and through external trainings to promote understanding of the young adult population and best practice in working with the population. Demonstrate knowledge of and alignment with Trauma Informed Care using a variety of therapeutic approaches, including but not limited to, Collaborative Problem Solving, Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectic Behavioral Therapy, Humanistic, and Integrative. Show competency in utilizing the concepts/approaches in interactions with young adults, families, staff, and community partners. Actively supervise and interact with young adults both in the community and within the therapeutic milieu to maintain safety and provide in the moment psychiatric and mental health services. This includes designing and implementing annual giving campaigns, membership drives, donor cultivation, grant support, and special fundraising initiatives. The role also serves as CLAM’s primary liaison to the West Marin Housing Collaborative’s consultants, coordinating CLAM’s participation in a regional capital campaign to expand affordable housing.
