Consistently participate in ongoing education and trainings provided by the agency and through external trainings to promote understanding of the young adult population and best practice in working with the population. Consistently complete all training hours required to maintain certification as a Qualified Mental Health Associate and annually complete the recertification requirements required by the state and the agency. Demonstrate knowledge of and alignment with Trauma Informed Care using a variety of therapeutic approaches, including but not limited to, Collaborative Problem Solving, Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectic Behavioral Therapy, Humanistic, and Integrative. Show competency in utilizing the concepts/approaches in interactions with young adults, families, staff, and community partners. Actively supervise and interact with young adults both in the community and within the therapeutic milieu to maintain safety and provide in the moment psychiatric and mental health services. Demonstrate knowledge of young adults’ development, anticipated differences in development based on diagnosis and history, and group dynamics by adjusting therapeutic approaches for appropriate developmental level for group interactions to allow full group engagement. WHAT YOU WILL DO FOR OUR TEAM As a key role in the Supportive Housing Division, the Maintenance Worker is responsible for performing routine maintenance work in Homes for Good properties under the supervision of the assigned Property Manager. Maintenance positions involve significant direct contact with residents of Agency owned communities. This position will work onsite with our Permanent Supportive Housing department and mainly serve our Bridges on Broadway property, although they may be asked to perform duties at The Commons on MLK or The Keystone as well. The Commons on MLK is a partnership between Lane County, Homes for Good, ShelterCare and Quantum Residential focused on providing permanent housing to 51 chronically homeless individuals who are part of the Frequent User System Engagement (FUSE) program for high service users. The Keystone is a 15-unit permanent supportive housing project for chronically homeless families with children. This project was funded through special PSH funds from OHCS and OHA with services provided by ShelterCare and property management by Quantum Residential. Bridges on Broadway is a partnership with Lane County and Oregon Housing and Community Services focused on providing permanent housing to 56 chronically homeless individuals referred through Coordinated Entry. This project is under construction and will open in 2025. The Commons on MLK and Bridges on Broadway are staffed 24 hours a day with services staff on-site from 8am-6pm. DUTIES: Perform routine maintenance work in vacant and occupied units. Perform routine custodial and grounds work using handheld tools and equipment. Learn the proper use and care of tools and equipment. Perform minor skilled plumbing repairs including replacement of washers, unplugging toilets, sinks, snaking drain lines, repair of leaking sink drains and supplies, repairs to existing irrigation and or leaking water lines. Perform minor 110v electrical, which may include lights, plugs, switches and heaters. Perform painting and soft tile laying. Check and lubricate vent fans, motors, cleans furnace filters and registers. Complete minor carpentry repairs to include replacement of fence boards and posts, locksets, miscellaneous hardware, and repairs to siding and window screens. Landscaping including; mowing, edging, pruning, weeding, raking of leaves and removal of debris, application of appropriate chemicals for fertilization, weed and insect control. Perform general laborer and custodial duties to include the cleaning of buildings and grounds; removal of weeds, leaves, cleaning of gutters and drains; washing windows, digging trenches. This role is centered on cultivating relationships with local leaders, from elected officials to community champions, and convening a sustained, values-driven campaign that connects housing to issues like economic opportunity, education, health, and community well-being. The ideal candidate is a skilled relationship-builder and strong, active listener with experience engaging influential stakeholders, especially across lines of difference. They don’t need to be a housing expert. What matters most is a genuine interest in the importance of housing to the health of the Napa Valley, an ability to unite diverse allies, highlight shared values, and help give voice to the real-life impact of housing challenges on local families, workers, and seniors. The consultant will work closely with and report to the Executive Director and the Director of Special Initiatives of Generation Housing. Key Responsibilities ● Lead pro-housing coalition-building: Build and grow a visible, sustained pro-housing presence in Napa Valley by leveraging existing relationships and cultivating new ones with grasstops stakeholders. Summary of Position The Electrician is responsible for electrical work at St. Joseph Indian School and other properties owned by the same. This is a non-exempt position. Accountability Reports to the Lead Electrician. Responsibilities 1. Repairs, maintains, and installs electrical wiring, equipment, and systems including but limited to switches, outlets, wiring, motors and alarms. 2. Uses diagnostic, test equipment to troubleshoot and identify electrical malfunctions. 3. Replaces, services, bypasses, electrical systems and electrical components. 4. Tests equipment for safety and function using standard test equipment. 5. Installs new equipment, wiring, and circuits following all code and safety requirements. 6. Familiarity with or ability to learn Johnson Controls systems and Metasys. 7. Assists in the maintenance of geo-thermal plant and air conditioning systems. 8. Complies with all safety and health requirements established by local, state and federal laws. 9. Repairs, installs, and trouble shoots all low voltage and communication systems as required. 10.
