They will work alongside the IT Domains teams to ensure that the functional requirements are defined effectively and that the tests are executed to plan. Drive the definition and testing of functional and automation requirements, coordinating the efforts across the IT Domain teams that continuously develop and deploy software enhancements and new products within the company's technology platform. This person is involved in test planning, writing test cases/scripts. Support the implementation and maintenance of the company’s QMS, ensuring ongoing compliance with FDA 21 CFR Part 820, ISO 13485, and other relevant standards. Professional Experience: 7+ years of progressive QA experience within the IVD, medical device, or regulated life sciences industry. Minimum of 3 years in a QA leadership or management role. Hands-on experience in manufacturing and product quality oversight in a regulated environment. Regulatory Expertise: Working knowledge of FDA 21 CFR Part 820, ISO 13485, and other applicable international quality standards. Experience supporting regulatory audits, product inspections, and submissions (experience leading them preferred). The preferred candidate would be local to the Greater Philadelphia area and able to travel into the office 3 days a week. This individual will be a member of IT Help Desk Team and ensure systems are operational, configured appropriately and performing correctly. Responsibilities: Server operations: Measure the power and performance of various server platforms including both internal and competitive systems. Responsible for server assembly, operation, SW installation and debug/repair of hardware. Setup, configure, run maintenance, and lifecycle of Storage and Data Backup solutions. Patch management testing and coordination including development and testing security patch packages. Participate in technical on-call rotation. Installation and maintenance: Install parts (e.g. processors, memory, storage, NICs, etc.) for both rack and bench systems. Perform routine data collection and maintain systems, racks, power, network, and remote access. Serve as a key enabler for offsite resources by resetting systems, swapping out parts, and providing overall scheduling for server usage. Requirements • 8+ years of experience in development and testing embedded systems, with a focus on both hardware and software components. • Deep expertise in embedded programming languages (e.g., C, C++), and real-time operating systems (RTOS). • Experience with testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Gtest, Pytest, etc.) and automated testing methodologies. • Experience working on Linux environment and using Linux tools • Exposure to CI/ CD processes and tools • Knowledge of communication protocols (e.g., I2C, SPI, UART) and hardware interfaces. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Good analytical and debugging skills to identify root cause of failure. • Strong communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide junior members.
