Assembly Technician - Aerospace Location: Denver, CO 80215 (Lakewood) Pay: $24 per hour Schedule: 1st Shift Job Description: We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Assembly Technician with experience in the aerospace manufacturing industry. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing final parts by cleaning, inspecting, and treating machined components using a variety of tools and techniques. Key Responsibilities: Including but not limited to: *Read, interpret and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble equipment and products *Grind, sand, clean, or polish objects or parts to correct defects or to prepare surfaces for further finishing, using hand tools and power tools *Rework and/or repair assembled equipment and products according to engineering specification changes *Verify quality of finished workpieces by inspecting them, comparing them to templates, measuring their dimensions, or testing them in working machinery *File grooved, contoured, and irregular surfaces of metal objects, such as metalworking dies and machine parts, to conform to templates, other parts, layouts, or blueprint specifications *Apply solutions and chemicals to equipment, objects, or parts, using hand tools *Operate manual mill and/or lathe Qualifications: *Soldering experience; Certification of IPC-610(preferred) and J-STD-001, or willing to obtain upon hire *Eligible or already have security clearance (highly desirable) *Able to read blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions. *Ability to use hand tools including deburring blades, scraper handles, Dremel’s, rotary brushes, sanders and grinders. *Good hand dexterity and coordination is necessary as products and components are typically very small. *Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow step-by-step instructions *Ability to perform repetitive tasks while standing, bending, and lifting (up to 50 lbs.) *Able to carry out tasks that require steady, precise arm movement for taping/masking parts For more information, please call Ms. Alana Ortiz at (720) 419-2303. We are seeking dedicated and skilled Production Workers to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various tasks related to the assembly and fabrication of products, ensuring high-quality standards are met throughout the production process. A production worker operates factory equipment such as press brakes and roll forming equipment, works on a production line, uses mechanical equipment to create and inspect products, and adheres to all factory safety guidelines, quality and productivity standards. Essential Duties and Responsibilities of a Production Worker: • Adheres to all safety guidelines in the production area and in handling of materials in the factory. • Starts assigned assembly and production machinery at beginning of shift. • Makes sure that workstation is clean and free of hazardous materials. • Cleans equipment. • Inspects assembled products to ensure they are up to quality standards. • Keeps production floor clean. • Reports issues or problems with production equipment to immediate supervisor. Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: • Strong attention to detail. • Is able to identify problems or malfunctions with machinery and equipment. • Demonstrates analytical thinking and problem-solving skills necessary to troubleshoot production issues. • Is familiar with all factory safety procedures and guidelines. • Works efficiently and manages time effectively. • Possesses physical strength and stamina required to stand, walk, and lift (up to and including 50 lbs.) for long periods of time. Education and Experience: • High school diploma or GED is preferred. • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment or warehouse setting is recommended. Work Environment: • Standard 40-hour workweek applies. Job Summary: We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented individuals to join the G+D team as Secure Production Operators III in our secure Bolingbrook, IL facility. We have two shifts available. 1st shift will work Monday through Friday 6am-2pm. 2nd shift will operate Monday through Friday 2pm-10pm. This role involves handling sensitive materials and operating complex machinery for the production of high-security items. Duties & Essential Job Functions: Operate and maintain the machine, ensuring high-quality production of secure product. Follow strict security protocols to handle sensitive materials and personal data. Perform routine machine checks and maintenance to ensure optimal operation and identify any issues. Collaborate with the quality assurance team to uphold product standards and identify any defects. Document production processes and maintain accurate records of materials used and products produced. Assist in troubleshooting machine issues and coordinate with technical support for complex problems. Access daily work files from the workstations on the production floor. Help in delivering the correct materials to each workstation in order to meet production goals for the shift. Monitor inventory levels of materials required to complete jobs and alert manager if stock is not adequate for the day's production. Run daily production as trained and directed for highly secure personalization on mailing machines. Perform basic data entry into Excel as needed. Relay issues and concerns to Operations Manager for HSA department. Follow and comply with policies, procedures, processes and general company information. Adhere to safety guidelines and company policies at all times. Required Skills & Qualifications: High School diploma or GED preferred. Minimum of 3 years of experience operating advanced machinery. Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve machine issues. Advanced understanding of the production process and quality standards. Ability to mentor and provide guidance to level one operators. Basic mechanical skills and ability to operate machinery. Must be willing to stand for the majority of the work day. Reason through problems involving set-up and operation. Must be able to pass a background check and drug test. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex procedures. Physical Requirements & Work Environment: Regular exposure to machinery noise; ear protection may be required. Fast-paced production floor requiring prolonged periods of standing and operation of machinery. Requires working on hard floor - regular standing, walking, bending, squatting, twisting and stooping. Requires the ability to lift 15 pounds with occasional lifting up to 50 pounds. Regular and consistent attendance, including overtime whether on a voluntary or mandatory basis. Requires visual acuity to operate a computer, read a computer screen, read policies and manuals. Requires manual dexterity to operate a computer, phone, fax, and scanner.
