Immediate job opening for experienced painter. 2 - 4 years minimum experience. Must be productive in team environments or while working solo. No drama here please. Truck/Van, tools and drywall experience a plus. Take home vehicle available for the right individual. Clean appearance, smartphone, reliable transportation, and DEPENDABILITY a must. Work consists of new construction, light commercial, remodels, repaints, shop finishes and fine home painting in Pierce and Kitsap Counties. The majority of our work(80%) is interior work so we work all year round. NOT A SEASONAL POSITION. We seek a seasoned horticulturist who is experienced in leading professional garden crews to join our team. You can work either full-time, or part-time (minimum three days a week). Our schedule is from 8-4, Monday through Friday (no weekends). This is a year-round position. The right candidate will have proficiency in all aspects of garden care: correct pruning, mulching, and planting techniques, western Washington weed and plant identification, and more. We seek someone with a depth of horticultural knowledge that surpasses the typical “mow and blow” landscaping operation. We will work with the right person to train them in our standards and systems before placing them in leadership. You will: - Manage the workflow and quality of work on job sites - Ensure that safety standards are being followed - Train and mentor crew members - Communicate daily with clients and managers Qualifications: - Minimum 2 years in professional landscaping with a horticulture-focused company - Experience leading others on a professional garden crew - Excellent plant ID and pruning skills - Strong communication, teamwork, recordkeeping, and organizational skills - Ability to lift 50+ lbs and enjoy working outdoors in all weather - Have a valid WA driver's license and a clean driving record - Have a reliable vehicle for transportation to job sites, and a smartphone for accessing our calendar and other tools.
