Apprentice needed to assist with livestock, poultry, equine and vegetable farming and related tasks. Pay is a % of gross sales w a weekly stipend. In this hands-on leadership role, you’ll oversee maintenance staff, coordinate repairs, manage vendors, and help keep all building systems operating at peak performance. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities: • Supervise daily janitorial operations. • Perform routine inspections of buildings, equipment, and common areas to identify issues or hazards. • Assist with scheduling preventive maintenance and minor repairs for equipment. • Oversee vendors and contractors performing on-site services and projects (upon request). • Maintain facility records, inspection logs, and safety documentation. • Support emergency response and storm preparedness plans as needed. • Work closely with the Facilities Manager to implement operational goals and capital improvements. • Ensure all work complies with OSHA, ADA, and local safety regulations. ________________________________________ Qualifications: • 3+ years of experience in facility maintenance or property operations (retail, hospitality, or commercial property preferred). • Strong knowledge of building systems and janitorial tools/procedures. • Leadership or supervisory experience is a plus. • Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills. • Ability to lift/move equipment and be on feet for extended periods. • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is highly desirable due to the diverse tenant and visitor population.
