We are seeking a skilled Site Foreman to serve as the on-site leader overseeing and managing specific assigned construction projects. The Site Foreman is responsible for ensuring all work is completed efficiently, safely, and in accordance with project specifications and timelines. This role requires hands-on leadership and effective coordination of various construction activities, including supervising staff, managing materials and equipment, and ensuring compliance with all safety regulations. Wage: $25/hr - $35/hr Sign on bonus of $2000 included RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES • Job Site Management: Coordinate and oversee all on-site activities to ensure project completion within schedule and budget. This includes planning work sequences, delegating tasks, and monitoring progress. • Team Supervision: Lead and manage construction crews, providing guidance, mentoring, and ensuring high performance. Address any issues or conflicts that arise among team members. • Quality Control: Inspect work to ensure it meets quality standards and project specifications. Implement corrective actions as necessary to address any deficiencies. • Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and ensure all workers adhere to regulations to prevent accidents and injuries. Conduct regular safety meetings and inspections. • Communication: Interface with General Contractors, Superintendents, Project Managers, and clients to relay information, provide updates, and address concerns. Maintain clear and concise communication channels. • Resource Management: Manage materials, equipment, and tools on-site, ensuring availability and proper usage. Track inventory and order supplies as needed. • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of daily activities, production reports, and any incidents. Ensure all paperwork is completed and filed appropriately. • Problem Solving: Identify and resolve issues that may impact project timelines or quality. Develop effective solutions to unforeseen challenges. ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS • Proven experience as a Site Foreman or similar role in commercial construction. • Proficient working with Drywall, Metal Stud Framing, Acoustical Ceilings, Firestopping, Scaffolding. • Experience working with EIFS/DEFS and Plaster is a plus. • Proficiency in reading blueprints and project specifications. • Strong leadership and team management skills. • Must be dependable, professional and safety conscious. REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS (will provide) • OSHA 30 Hour • First Aid / CPR • Hilti Power Actuated Tools • Aerial Lift Operator PREQUALIFICATIONS • Must be able to pass pre-employment physical and drug screen. • Must be able to pass a background check. • Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. regularly, bending, climbing, twisting. • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. • This position requires employee to provide, maintain and replace their own hand tools. No experience is necessary but snow or heavy equipment experience is preferred. Operators will receive thorough training on safely operating a tractor with an inverted snow blower.
