What You’ll Do: - Lead & Mentor: Supervise and train a dedicated team of maintenance technicians to keep our hotel in top shape. - Collaborate & Solve: Oversee daily maintenance, repairs, and inspections of essential systems—HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and safety equipment—to ensure seamless operations. - Drive Excellence: Take charge of the proactive preventative maintenance program to delight our guests and protects our assets. - Partnerships: Collaborate with vendors, contractors, and inspectors to uphold the highest quality and safety standards. - Manage: Keep track of departmental expenses and oversee vendor agreements. - Roll Up Your Sleeves: Troubleshoot issues, resolve malfunctions, and jump in and work side by side with your team to get the job done right. What We’re Looking For: - Prior hotel engineering experience or related field preferred. - A leader who leads by example, communicates clearly, and builds trust within your team. - Knowledge of fire protection, life safety systems, refrigeration, and kitchen equipment. - Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm—and effective—under pressure. - 3+ years in a maintenance role, with a desire to take on greater responsibility. - Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard computer applications. - Flexibility to work rotating schedules, including weekends and holidays.
