Job Title: Receptionist - Internal Medicine Office Location: Huntingdon Valley, PA Pay: $19-20/hour based on qualifications About Us: We are a small, one-doctor internal medicine office dedicated to providing exceptional care to our patients. Our team is committed to a patient-centered approach, ensuring that every individual receives the attention and support they deserve. Position Overview: We are looking for two caring and patient receptionists to join our team. If you have strong communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and a passion for helping others, we want to hear from you! Key Responsibilities: - Interact with patients in a friendly and professional manner. - Answer phone calls, take messages, and schedule appointments. - Handle referrals and prior authorizations. - Assist with light cleaning duties to maintain a welcoming environment. - Collect patient information and vital signs; perform EKGs. - Ensure HIPAA compliance while communicating with patients and providers. - Utilize online and cloud platforms daily for patient management. - One role will involve bringing patients back to examination rooms, taking copays, and answering phones. - The other role will focus on checking patients out in a timely manner, scanning documents, and processing referrals. Qualifications: - Caring and patient disposition. - Excellent communication and organizational skills. - Customer service experience is a must. - Must be computer literate; medical experience is not required as training will be provided. - No degree required.
