2006 Ford Escape Limited (119,000 miles) - $3,000

Please read entire ad! The SUV runs and drives well. V6 engine. 119,000 miles. Leather, sunroof, good tires, aftermarket stereo with Bluetooth. Dependable and economical. The SUV does have a few issues: - AC has a leak at the expansion valve. It can be recharged, however it leaks out after a few months. - The evaporation canister (purge valve) is bad. Because of this, the check engine light is on, and a "service emission system" message pops up on the dashboard. Also, there's an occasional sputter when accelerating. We were quoted $512 last year to repair both of these issues. We made the decision not to due to our intent to eventually sell the vehicle. Additionally, the SUV has a crack in the lower portion of the windshield, and the front bumper is damaged on the passenger side. Other than the listed issues above, it's a fairly nice SUV.
