Handyman Business Helper (Inwood) EZ Home Solutions compensation: 15.00 employment type: full-time experience level: entry level job title: Handyman Business Helper A Handyman Business Helper assists in the upkeep and repair of residential properties, performing routine maintenance tasks from Owner and supporting owner on job sites with multitude of tasks to ensure a streamline pace and while having a safe and functional environment. Key Responsibilities Routine Maintenance: Perform regular household repair tasks with assistance and maintenance tasks, including cleaning job sites during residential and commercial contracts, helping Owner with multitude of basic tasks to complete contracts, to include loading and unloading work truck for new job sites, etc. Assistance with Repairs: Support skilled tradespeople (electricians, plumbers, HVAC technicians) in complex repair tasks by providing tools, materials, and hands-on assistance as needed. Safety Compliance: Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment and report any safety hazards to owner. Required Skills and Qualifications Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred; previous experience in maintenance or a related field is a plus but not required. Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of maintenance procedures and practices, including familiarity with hand and power tools. Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to troubleshoot minor issues effectively.
