You'll be responsible for participating in the design process preparing thorough electrical drawings and details. The work includes engineering design analysis for short circuit fault current, arc flash hazard, photometric anaylsis, voltage drop, load flow analysis, and general research of new technologies as applicable. Requirements The successful candidate will: Learn the primary drafting tools, Revit and AutoCAD, as well as engineering analysis tools such as SKM Power Tools for fault current studies and AGI for photometric analysis. Participate in development of electrical designs from concept through completion of construction. Prepare engineering design calculations, create layouts, and write detailed engineering reports. We are a mid-size multi-discipline architectural and engineering firm with offices in Roseville and San Francisco. We are currently looking for a Project Coordinator / BIM Technician with interest in working in multiple disciplines or specializing in one or two: Architectural, Structural, MEP, As-Builts. You are the ideal candidate if you enjoy working with a small, collaborative design team.
