




Compensation: DOE – Competitive Employment Type: Full-Time Location: Boise, Idaho Experience: 3 Years Summary: Vanmark Equipment is a custom stainless steel equipment manufacturing company serving the food industry. We are seeking an experienced individual with 3+ years of experience in Inventory Management and Control, equipment packing and crating. Function & Responsibility Supporting Vanmark’s mission of feeding our growing world together takes a team of highly skilled and motivated individuals. As Vanmark’s Inventory Control Specialist, you will be supporting the fabrication/blade production team daily via receiving, shipping, and inventory management; all while keeping stakeholders updated to any changes in schedule, cost, or availability. • Manage inventory using computer systems and established procedures. • Create/manage Job Travelers and Purchase Orders using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software. • Stage and issue inventory items to Job Orders per equipment Bill of Materials. • Inspect all parts for quality after arriving from vendors. Using ERP software, accept parts into inventory and stock into designated locations. • Preform cycle count inventory calculations, audit anomalies, and make corrections where needed. • Pack and crate customer orders of parts and equipment supplying weights and dimensions to the shipping office. • Create shipping documents using UPS/FedEx and others to arrange shipping of equipment and parts. • Oversee the maintenance and repair of the facility, vehicles, and equipment, contacting specialists and following up on repairs. • Correspond with customers and vendors when needed to discuss pricing and shipping requirements. • Preform quality control and inspections on parts, manufactured items and blades per established procedures and drawings. • Support shop operations when needed. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required • In-depth knowledge of inventory management software best practices. • Manage multiple deadlines & tasks simultaneously. • Interpret and understand instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. • Proficient in the use of power tools; including but not limited to circular saws, drills, and nails guns. • Proficient at safely operating forklifts in varying environments. • Must be able to lift 25 LBS multiple times a day, and up to 45 lbs. on occasion • Must be able to stand at least 80% of the day • Adapt to direction from supervisors to meet current needs. • Understand and comply with all company safety policies and procedures. • Communicate effectively with all members of the Vanmark team.
